Purpose:
To develop and ensure implementation/compliance with Project Quality Plan, project quality related procedures for document control, change control, material control/inspection/testing, material Inspection and test Plan.
Core Accountabilities:
Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility.
Assist QA/QC Manager for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of Project QMS.
Assist QA/QC Manager in developing and implementing Quality Audit programme (participate internal audits to company and external audits to subcontractor as auditor).
Interprets the project quality assurance program (QA Program), and reviews project quality documents.
Review Subcontractors’ QMS documents.
Verifies vendor’s and subcontractor’s quality assurance performance by monitoring and auditing.
Identifies quality problems and verifies that corrective actions for them are implemented as necessary.
Confers with the construction manager and other field key personnel concerned to promote efficient performance of quality assurance.
Collects and compiles quality assurance records, quality related documents providing evidence that the construction activities have been performed in compliance with the QA Program.
Expedite the issue and implementation of disposition plan for CAR’s.
Prepares monthly quality assurance status reports.
Maintain and report the status of quality KPI’s.

Qualifications:
Tertiary/technical engineering qualifications in relevant field are preferable.
Experienced in Quality Systems based on the ISO 9000 series standards and a current auditing qualification are preferable.
Experience & Technical Competencies:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate 5 years experience in the position and 8 years experience in Oil & Gas Brownfield and Greenfield facilities, preferably with EPCM contractors. Middle East experience on similar projects would be an advantage.
Demonstrated success in past project involvement in small to medium size projects.
Proven ability to influence and mentor others in safety principles and behaviours.
Demonstrated high order interpersonal skills and the ability to operate within a multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines.
Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others with regard to continuous improvement.
A high level of computer literacy.
